What is the significance of -si in any linux command to write logs in a CSV file. I want to know the exact role -si part will play in the entire command to write perfmon logs into a CSV file.

Thanks in Advance

  • Is `-si` a command line switch that you're seeing used with some program? Try checking that program's manual. – BRPocock Oct 09 '14 at 07:08
  • Command line options (bits passed after the command starting with a hyphen) are not common to all or any Linux command. Every Linux command has their own options. What is your exact command in this case? – marekful Oct 09 '14 at 07:14
