In my NavigationDrawerFragment.java I have set the Navigation drawer text to be set to a certain typeface. But the typeface only gets set to the first item of the navigation drawer! How can I fix this?

Here's my NavigationDrawerFragment.java:

public class NavigationDrawerFragment extends Fragment {

private Activity activity;

/**
 * Remember the position of the selected item.
 */
private static final String STATE_SELECTED_POSITION = "selected_navigation_drawer_position";

/**
 * Per the design guidelines, you should show the drawer on launch until the user manually
 * expands it. This shared preference tracks this.
 */
private static final String PREF_USER_LEARNED_DRAWER = "navigation_drawer_learned";

/**
 * A pointer to the current callbacks instance (the Activity).
 */
private NavigationDrawerCallbacks mCallbacks;

/**
 * Helper component that ties the action bar to the navigation drawer.
 */
private ActionBarDrawerToggle mDrawerToggle;

private DrawerLayout mDrawerLayout;
private ListView mDrawerListView;
private View mFragmentContainerView;

private int mCurrentSelectedPosition = 0;
private boolean mFromSavedInstanceState;
private boolean mUserLearnedDrawer;

Generally speaking, when I need to apply font styles to text views. I do it in this manner.

  1. Put your font file *.ttf inside assets folder.
  2. Declare a private member in your fragment class like this:

private Typeface avenir = null;

  1. In your onCreate method, initialize this member like this:

avenir = Typeface.createFromAsset(getActivity().getAssets(), "avenir.ttf");

  1. In your onCreateView method, after inflating your layout, you can apply your font type to "navigation_drawer_text":
View view = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_layout, container, false);
tvNavigationDrawerText = (TextView) view.findViewById(R.id.navigation_drawer_text);
tvNavigationDrawerText.setTypeface(avenir);

Hope this helps.
