MongoDB launch issue

New to MongoDB. Tried launching the Mongo instance as below and encountered the below issue.

Any suggestions?

did you start the server (`mongod.exe`) before running `mongo.exe`? – pennstatephil May 27 '14 at 16:49
did you create drive:\data\db folder? – Makoton May 27 '14 at 16:50
