I am trying to open access automatically and run a macro automatically as well. What i have done so far is this:

  1. I have put in the task scheduler to open access through this line C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\MSACCESS.EXE

  2. I have put AutoExec as the name of the macro.

It doesnt seem to be running though. Is there something i have done wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I am using access 2013 on Windows 8 if that makes a difference.

  • Access does open at the specified time? Is it in a trusted location? i.e. when you open it manually do you need to `trust` the file or `Enable content`? – Brad Mar 10 '14 at 16:36
