I can find the reference for Wireless Ad Hoc API here:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms706584(v=vs.85).aspx

But I am not able to locate AdHod.idl anywhere in my system. Do I need to install?

I am using Windows 7 and Microsoft Visual Studio 10 Professional.

Thanks.

  • Try installing the Windows SDK. It's free. – Cheeso Apr 16 '12 at 22:49
  • Thanks. But won't the Windows SDK be available if I have Visual Studio Installed? – bdhar Apr 16 '12 at 22:59

No - the Windows SDK is distinct from Visual Studio. The Windows SDK is not installed as part of Visual Studio, or at least is not *always* installed with Visual Studio. – Cheeso Apr 16 '12 at 23:17
