I'm a cat behaviorist; now only a volunteer. As a former journalist, I was called upon to investigate some of the loonier stories and claims which arrived at the news desk. Moreover, two of us were the designated "Answer Guys" on weekends when the library was closed. Before the bars closed on Friday and Saturday nights, we were kept pretty busy settling bets. Hands down, it was my favorite profession. Becoming a cat-iatrist and changing careers, however, is probably more fun.
