"Nessie" is a hypothetical animal that in the Loch Ness lake in the Scottish Highlands. It is a cryptid, an animal for which no solid evidence has yet been found to prove its existence.

This tag is explicitly for questions relating to the large hypothetical animal (or species of animals) that may live in Loch Ness. The most famous photo of this creature has been shown to be a hoax; this does not disprove the creature's existence.
