There was a time in my life when I took IT seriously, but now I usually try to avoid unnecessary obstacles just as in my life as in computers.
I used to run FreeBSD/OpenBSD during my teens and still have a warm feeling about the Berkeley Unix descendants because of their simplicity and transparency in their configuration and usability.
I've also tried to use and learn some GNU distributions as well, but there is too much differences between each of them and some of them were too complex, so I gave up and used Windows.
Now I'm using Fedora Workstation on my PC and sometimes keep in touch with Windows 7 Home Premium on a laptop which I handed to my mother.
