Develops custom programs and scripts as well as utilizing existing software for designing, modifying, debugging, testing and deploying a variety of complex business applications in various programming languages (e.g., JSP, BASH, PERL, JAVA EE, Python). Reviews stakeholder needs for programming enhancements to perform analysis, design, implementation for new functionality, and improved performance in existing applications in a timely fashion. Provides support for quick remediation on new enhancements for existing programs in the event project scope or requirements change.

In charge of bringing new systems onboard utilizing new data marts and warehousing techniques with various ETL (Export/Transform/Loading) tools such as scriptella (JAVA), SSIS (MS SQL), and custom java based tools developed by the Business Application Development Group. Provides support and technical advice by way of in person consultations as well as teaching seminars on newly implemented technology for developer and end-users consumption not limited to systems installation, configurations, and troubleshooting. In charge of creating, implementing, and deploying new data models for various projects with in the Health System and Health Sciences for over 250 departments and divisions reporting consumption using IBM Cognos Business Intelligence tools for purposes of both ad-hoc reporting as well as up-to-date reporting for secure report viewing with respect to Revenue, Expenses, Benefits accruals and cash flows for the entire enterprise in both academic and clinical practice. Provides backend data access for privileged clients as well as Senior Business Analysts by providing the SQL coding for various reports and data validations in Health Sciences. Provides detailed analysis of root cause failures in the event any business process does not complete or provides unexpected results on all of the financial reporting. Implemented continuous integration, deployment using the nexus server.
