Trying to ssh and ssh-keyscan from Mac OS (Sierra 10.12.5) to a device, I was getting this error initially, "Unable to negotiate with 10.10.0.1 port 22: no matching key exchange method found. Their offer: diffie-hellman-group1-sha1".
I modified the /etc/ssh/ssh_config file as below. That made it work for "ssh" command.
Host *
HostkeyAlgorithms ssh-dss,ssh-rsa
KexAlgorithms +diffie-hellman-group1-sha1
However, "ssh-keyscan" is still complaining that no kex algo matched. I don't see the "diffie-hellman-group1-sha1" line in the list of KEX algo from the local client KXINIT proposal as in the output below.
$ ssh-keyscan -vv 10.10.0.1

Is there another config file param to make this work with ssh-keyscan?
