Scenario: We have a number of PCs (50+) on a small corporate network, running Windows 10, MS server 2012 running the normal services (AD, DHCP, DNS etc) and a Ubiquity based network and wireless APs. Wifi authenticates through RADIUS.

We are in the process of switching from an old domain to a new one, so a new DC implemented, with trust.

When I switch a PC or laptop from OldDomain to NewDomain, we are instantly seeing an issue (on all workstations of varying makes and models) where they are unable to authenticate a wifi connection with radius pre-login. You can see it trying to connect, fails, retries, loop...

The moment a domain user logs in (which of course has to be via cached credentials as it can't see the DC until it connects) it will establish a connection and be happy. User logs out, connection drops.

This was not an issue on OldDomain.

And unfortunately I have very limited knowledge of the workings of RADIUS
