I have a Intel server board, S1200V3RPS and need to update its firmware. I download the latest bios (firmware). Boot into EFS Shell. And run the FvUpdate.efi program. But I got "Update failed. Please make sure the flash is not write protected."
I try many effort to update the firmware and all fail. I try put the jumper to boot from Bios Recovery Mode. I try set jumper to enable BMC Force Update, but mother board won't boot.
Does anyone has successfully upgrade inter server board firmware? It seems all documented methods does not work.
BTW, I think the flash does not refer to the USB flash but the flash on the motherboard. I can copy files in EFI Shell from USB sub-folder to its root folder.
