Plant containers that are typically round

"Pot" is a more colloquial name for a plant container but tends to be used for circular plant containers. The origins are because plant containers used to be ceramic - typically terracotta. Ceramics are still often used for plant pots, although plastics are now more common.

Use this tag for questions specific to pots and smaller plant containers. For example, choosing the correct pot, problems with watering / drying out, pot-bound plants, etc.
