When my date palm was installed it had a few of these things around the edge of the trunk. Are they stunted fronds? Should I remove them? The palm itself is healthy and appears to be growing well.

What are these white insects on Areca palm? What should I do about them?

My first thought was mealybugs. But aren’t these too tiny to be mealybugs. I don’t see any big ones. I see them quite a lot on different leaves. What should I do about it? Is it best to throw the plant out to prevent it spreading to other plants?

Should I trim the fronds on a Queen palm?

The fronds are very sturdy and bend almost to the ground. They are probably over 10ft. in length. Should I trim them? Their weight sometimes causes them to "crack" off.

My newly repotted majesty palm is loose. Should I add more mix?

I blended the potting soil with 50/50 sphagnum peat moss/moisture retaining potting soil for my Majesty palm. It feels kinda light and the palm is a little loose in the pot. Should I add more potting soil or should I just leave it how it is?
