Hello, I've been cooking for years, thanks to my four years of cooking classes in high school the majority of my concoctions (as my family calls them) are successful. My mom is from Germany and was always cooking or baking something all my life. I've managed to learn a few of her recipes but find it hard to duplicate her 100%, she made the best yeast dough and I have no idea what she did to it to make it taste so good.

My youngest daughter and I love to bake cookies and bread for Christmas, which we ship some off every year to my sisters in Chicago.

I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we moved here in 2000, we are originally from Illinois, so my cooking includes both northern and southern recipes.
