With two young kids, I spend my kitchen time trying to make foods that are quick to make, healthy, economical and appealing to picky eaters. I remember the days of spending a nice amount of time on a large meal, or refining a technique, or just enjoying the process and joy of cooking. These days, I'm in more of a "get it done" mode... but still enjoy adapting recipes to my own needs. I'm especially interested in good food that is easy to prepare, and doesn't taste like it was easy to prepare. (Is that "snooty food" that can be made quickly?)
