I fell in love with cooking when a friend gave me a copy of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" and insisted that I could do anything I wanted. My focus has since been on learning, teaching, and sharing. One of my proudest moments was when my son announced he was enrolling in the culinary program at the University of Hawaii-Kapiolani Community College. We cook together frequently and bump heads a LOT! It's great to have a professionally trained person to work with.
