Do not sell a sanctuary, rather on the stipulation that if they want they can return to it; Said Rabbi Meir. The Hachamim (wise ones) say: sell it [for] forever, except [for it to be sold] for four things – a bath, a tannery, a mikveh, and a bathroom. Rabbi Yehuda says: sell it for a courtyard, and the person who takes it [will do with it] what he wants to do.
