Yvan Colonna
Yvan Colonna (French pronunciation: [ivɑ̃ kɔlɔna]; Corsican: Ivanu Colonna, [iˈvanu koˈlɔnːa]; 7 April 1960 – 21 March 2022) was a Corsican nationalist convicted for the assassination of Claude Érignac, the Prefect of Corse-du-Sud, in 1998. He was beaten to death in prison by a jihadist inmate, which led to the 2022 Corsica unrest.
