Wick Allison
Lodowick Brodie Cobb "Wick" Allison (March 17, 1948 – September 1, 2020) was an American magazine publisher and author. He was the owner of D Magazine, a monthly magazine covering Dallas–Fort Worth, which he co-founded in 1974. He was also the principal owner of People Newspapers, which he purchased in 2003. He served as president of the non-profit American Ideas Institute, publisher of The American Conservative.
