WLIP broadcasts with 250 watts, using a non-directional antenna. It is limited in its power because 1050 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency and WLIP must avoid interference with Class A station XEG in Monterrey, as well as 50,000-watt CHUM in Toronto. WLIP's transmitter (on land which formerly contained its studios) is off Green Bay Road (Wisconsin Highway 31) in Pleasant Prairie.
