Falkland Islands General Employees Union

The Falkland Island General Employees Union is a trade union representing workers in the Falkland Islands. Originally founded in 1943 as the Falkland Islands Labour Federation, the union mostly represents workers in the agriculture sector.

FALKLAND IS. LABOUR FEDERATION. MEMBERS ARE INFORMED THAT ENTRANCE FEES AND CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NOV/ DUE AND WILL BE. ACCEPTED AT MR. BRECHINS HOUSE. WHERE MEMBERSHIP CARDS WILL BE GIVEN. ENTRANCE FEE 10/- Weekly contributions 6d per week due from the 24th January, 1944 by all members who have previously enrolled. New members will also be accepted. M.Evans. Secretary.
