Oda has won three major singles titles. By winning the 2023 French Open, he became the youngest man to win a major tennis tournament of any discipline in the Open Era, at 17 years and 33 days old. The win moved Oda up to world number one in the rankings. A month later he also won the singles title at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships.
