Tennys Sandgren

Tennys Loren Sandgren II (/ˈtɛnɪs ˈsændɡrən/ TEN-iss SAND-grən; born July 22, 1991) is an American professional tennis player. He has achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 41 on January 14, 2019. He broke into the top 100 of the ATP rankings toward the end of 2017 after competing mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour. Born and raised in Gallatin, Tennessee, he played two years of college tennis at the University of Tennessee before launching his professional career.
