The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. It also peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it a minor crossover hit and Byrd's highest peaking song on that chart. It was written by Casey Beathard, Michael P. Heeney and Marla Cannon-Goodman.
