Sylejman Selimi (born September 25 1980), is a former Kosovo Albanian war commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK), who fought against the Serbian armed forces during the Kosovo War. After the war, he held the position of commander in the military of the Republic of Kosovo. In 2011, he transitioned from this role to become the ambassador to Albania.
