Sukhothai province
Sukhothai (Thai: สุโขทัย, pronounced [sù.kʰǒː.tʰāj]) is one of Thailand's seventy-six provinces (changwat) lies in lower northern Thailand. Neighboring provinces are Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng Phet, Tak, and Lampang. Sukhothai can be translated as 'dawn of happiness'.
