Sivan District
Sivan District (Persian: بخش سیوان) is in Ilam County, Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Jafarabad.

After the 2011 census, Mishkhas Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Sivan District, which was divided into two rural districts.
At the National Census in 2016, the district had 8,994 inhabitants in 2,465 households.
In 2019, the village of Jafarabad was elevated to the status of a city.
In 2023, Alishervan Rural District was transferred to the Central District of Badreh County. In the same year, Mahmudabad Rural District was established in the district.
