Shondor Birns
Alex Birns (February 21, 1907 – March 29, 1975), best known as Shondor Birns, was an American organized crime figure, mob boss, and racketeer from Cleveland, Ohio, who was once labeled by the local newspapers as the city's "Public enemy No. 1". He was actively involved in a wide variety of racketeering and other organized crime related activities such as prostitution, theft, numbers, etc., from the days of Prohibition until his demise.
