Shiur

Shiur (/ˈʃiːər/, שיעור‎ [ʃiˈʔuʁ], lit. amount; pl.: shiurim שיעורים‎ [ʃiʔuˈʁim]) is a lecture on any Torah topic – such as Gemara, Mishnah, Halakha (Jewish law), Tanakh (Bible) – usually in a yeshiva, although commonly in other settings.
