Sharya
Sharya (Russian: Шарья́) is a town in Kostroma Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Vetluga River 330 kilometers (210 mi) northeast of Kostroma, the administrative center of the oblast. Population: 20,439 (2021 Census); 23,681 (2010 Census); 24,900 (2002 Census); 27,062 (1989 Census); 26,000 (1974).
