Saxon Palace

The Saxon Palace (Polish: pałac Saski w Warszawie) was one of the most distinctive buildings in Warsaw, Poland before World War II. It was destroyed by German armed forces after the fall of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 as part of their planned destruction of Warsaw and not rebuilt since. Ground work commenced in August 2022, after the Polish Government announced a plan regarding reconstruction of the building. It is expected to be completed by 2030.
