Samalut
Samalut (Arabic: سمالوط, from Coptic: ⲧⲥⲉⲙⲟⲩⲗⲟⲧ t-Semulot) is a city and a municipal division in the Minya Governorate in Egypt. It is located on the west bank of the Nile, a few hours by train south of Cairo.
