Roberto Pérez

Roberto Andres Pérez (born December 23, 1988) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball catcher in the Boston Red Sox organization. He played college baseball for Florida Gateway College. Pérez was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 33rd round of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut in 2014 with the Indians, and has also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants. He has won two Gold Glove Awards and two Fielding Bible Awards, and was named the Wilson Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.
