Remscheid (German pronunciation: [ˈʁɛmʃaɪt] ) is a ⓘcity in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is, after Wuppertal and Solingen, the third-largest municipality in Bergisches Land, being located on the northern edge of the region, on the south side of the Ruhr area.
