A Polaroid synthetic plastic sheet is a brand name product trademarked and produced by the Polaroid Corporation used as a polarizer or polarizing filter. The term “Polaroid” entered the common vocabulary with the early 1960s introduction of patented film and cameras manufactured by the corporation that produced “instant photos”.
