Newyddion
Newyddion S4C (S4C News) is a Welsh-language news programme consisting of Welsh, UK, and international news, produced daily by BBC Cymru Wales and broadcast on S4C. Before S4C started broadcasting, Newyddion was seen as a regional opt-out on BBC One, usually broadcast around 7:00pm, where it replaced programmes in the schedule such as Tomorrow's World. The first Newyddion on BBC One Wales was broadcast on 2nd Aug 1971 at 18:55pm with the last BBC One Wales bulletin seen on 29 October 1982 at 7:00pm, though Welsh-language television news dates back on the BBC to 6pm on 16 March 1956.
