The Muskwa-Slave Lake forests ecoregion (WWF ID: NA0610) covers Canadian taiga in northwestern Alberta, northeastern British Columbia and a large portion of the southwestern Northwest Territories around the Mackenzie River valley and the Great Slave Lake.
