Momsky District

Momsky District (Russian: Момский улу́с; Yakut: Муома улууһа, Muoma uluuha, IPA: [muoma uluːha]) is an administrative and municipal district (raion, or ulus), one of the thirty-four in the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the republic. The area of the district is 104,600 square kilometers (40,400 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Khonuu. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 4,452, with the population of Khonuu accounting for 55.6% of that number.
