Menippe and Metioche

In Greek mythology, Menippe (/mɪˈnɪp/; Ancient Greek: Μενίππη Menippê meaning 'the courageous mare' or 'sipper') and Metioche (Ancient Greek: Μητιόχη) were daughters of Orion. They feature in a brief myth about human sacrifice.
