Martin Whitely

Martin Paul Whitely (born 19 October 1959) is a mental health researcher, author and was a Labor member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from February 2001 until he retired from state politics in March 2013. During his parliamentary and research career Whitely has been a prominent critic of increasing child mental health medication prescribing rates.
