Marivan
Marivan (Persian: مريوان; Kurdish: مەریوان ) also known as Mariwan and Qale Marīvān—"Fort Marivan"; formerly, Dezhe Shahpur (Persian: دِژ شاپور), also Romanized as Dezhe Shāhpūr and Dezhe Shapoor) is a city in the ⓘCentral District of Marivan County, Kurdistan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. The people of Marivan speak Kurdish.
