MR-73

The MR-73 (Matériel roulant conçu en 1973) is the second generation of rubber-tired rolling stock used on the Montreal Metro. Manufactured by Bombardier Transportation, they entered service in June 1976.

Since the retirement of the first generation MR-63s, the MR-73 trains are in use on three of Montreal's four Metro lines. Replacement of the trains is planned for the 2030s, when they will be over 50 years old.
