Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, commonly known as Kotte (pronounced [ˈkoːʈeː]), is the legislative capital of Sri Lanka. Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte is located adjacent to the urban area of Sri Lanka's de facto economic, executive, and judicial capital, Colombo.
