Kanuri (/kəˈnʊəri/) is a Saharan dialect continuum of the Nilo–Saharan language family spoken by the Kanuri and Kanembu peoples in Nigeria, Niger, Chad and Cameroon, as well as by their nomadic and diasporic offshoot communities in southern Libya and western Sudan.
