Haloxylon ammodendron
Haloxylon ammodendron, variosly called the saxaul (Russian: саксау́л, tr. saksaúl), black saxaul, also spelled sacsaoul or saksaul is a plant belonging to the family Amaranthaceae. "Saksaul" is a common Turkic word that entered Russian through Kazakh.
