From November 2022 through early 2023, the show averaged around 2.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched late-night show in the United States, a position it has held since August of that year.

Following Fox News firing 8pm ET host Tucker Carlson in April 2023, the network saw a significant drop in viewership across all of its shows. The program now averages between 1.5–1.8 million viewers per night, still beating its competitors.

In October 2023, the program entered into another hiatus following the 2023 Israel–Hamas war, similar to when the war in Ukraine broke out. The program then returned following a week-long break on October 16, 2023.
