Geoff Edwards
Jeff Edwards was a genius. In 1980 he hosted a telethon in Spokane, WA that I produced. I had been a huge fan of Jeff's from watching his antics on the New Treasure Hunt. I gave Jeff a short synopsis of the first hour and when we went live he was brilliant. He interviewed doctors, handicapped children, their parents as well as physical therapists who worked with the kids. And he raised over $120,000 when the best pledge drive in Spokane for any charity had raised a little over $40,000.

Geoffrey Bruce Owen Edwards (February 13, 1931 – March 5, 2014) was an American television actor, game show host, and radio personality. Starting in the early 2000s, he was also a writer and broadcaster on the subject of travel.
