Developed as the sixth installment of The Real Housewives franchise, it has aired twelve seasons and focuses on the personal and professional lives of women who live in or near Beverly Hills, California.

The current thirteenth-season cast consists of: Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley.

The success of the show has resulted in two spin-offs: Vanderpump Rules and Vanderpump Dogs featuring cast member Lisa Vanderpump.
