Dicksonia squarrosa
Dicksonia squarrosa, the New Zealand tree fern, whekī /ˈfɛkiː/ or rough tree fern, is a common tree fern endemic to New Zealand. It has a slender black trunk that is usually surrounded by many dead brown fronds.
